I wonder how efficient this is? Effient for marketing purposes I would imagine - but I would be genuinely (not snarkily) interested to see how much more energy this uses, and weighing that up against the cost of new paper, or new-to-you recycled paper. The question is mainly based around economy of scale. It’s not very efficient to do this in small batches, is it? I would imagine that’s why most companies refused the request. Same as the problems of printing one business card. You might only want one, but the cost of printing one far outweighs the cost of printing 500.
