“… to remind me that there’s more to me than just my job”
I wrote a bit about ‘making’ recently, and had this at the back of my mind. I’ve just found the link again. It’s a piece of tatting, about which the creator writes:
“It’s clipped to my office cubicle wall at the present moment to remind me that there’s more to me than just my job. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in work that I forget that work is not who I really am. It brightens my day to look at it and remember that I am actually a much more creative person than my job allows.”
